Singapore-based startup Klikit has secured seed funding from investors, including South Korea’s Futureplay, to develop its software-as-a-service platform for in-store food and beverage.
Also participating in the round were Singapore’s Wavemaker Partners, the Philippines’ Gentree Fund, and executives from major tech companies such as Gojek, YouTube, and TikTok.
Klikit aims to create a new food and beverage ecosystem by providing solutions to maximize sales and profits for businesses in the sector.
The company’s flagship product, Klikit Cloud, consolidates all incoming order information from multiple channels, including delivery apps and social media commerce, into a single device, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
The platform can also act as a point-of-sale solution by integrating QR ordering and payment capabilities.
More than 250 stores in five countries have already adopted Klikit’s technology, and the company plans to expand further throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Leveraging its growing network of food and beverage stores, Klikit plans to work with creators to launch and distribute food and beverage brands to participating stores.
This strategy is expected to drive sales for stores and brands while offering creators a new business monetization model.
